Josep Bofill Moliné, born in Barcelona in 1942, is a renowned Spanish sculptor and painter. He began his artistic education at the School of Arts and Crafts in Barcelona. His father, Josep Bofill Herrero, was also a sculptor and painter, which influenced his early exposure to the arts.

Bofill’s work is characterized by a naturalistic style that emphasizes realism over idealization, with a focus on the human figure. He works with a wide variety of materials, such as resin, cement, iron, bronze, stainless steel, photography, and paintings. He has also worked with lighting in his sculptures.

His sculptures often explore themes of human emotion and experience, capturing the essence of his subjects with sensitivity and depth. Bofill has exhibited his work in various countries, including Spain, Holland, Portugal, Belgium, the United States, France, Italy, and China. His pieces are part of numerous public and private collections, such as the Museum da Cidade de Almada, the Vila Casas Foundation, and the Cercle del Liceu in Barcelona. He has also created public sculptures that can be seen in places such as Girona, Vallromanes, and the Plaza de San Braulio in Zaragoza.
